I know it can be tiring to hear about the bond market when you are making loans and not a market participant. It’s ok, come on in, the water’s nice. It’s like hearing about your friend investing in some exciting private equity knowing the fund is closed. How long has it been since you were able to talk about bond yields and people actually wanted to hear about it? Well those times are upon us. We have been hearing from individuals, money managers, and financial advisors that there is a focused interest in bond yields even though equity markets are still chugging along. We don’t know how long rates will be this high or maybe even higher. But we believe it certainly can’t last forever.
